Saudi shares rose 0.6 percent, lifted by banks and Saudi Basic Industries (SABIC).
The Saudi index TASI ended up 0.6 percent at 6,188.84 points. Among biggest gainers was Al Rajhi Bank, the country’s biggest Islamic lender, rising 1 percent.
Samba Financial Group gained 0.48 percent.
