Saudi shares fall for 3rd session in a row

Saudi Arabia’s all-share TASI index is up 0.2% at 5,774.5 points in early trading.

Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) and Saudi Electricity led Saudi shares to a lower close, the third in a row.

The all-share index TASI closed 0.41 percent lower at 5,739.2 points in the first day of trading after Saudi authorities announced a failed bid to assassinate the Kingdom’s top security chief.

SABIC shed 1.1 percent at 70.25 riyals and Saudi Electricity ended 1 percent lower at 9.6 riyals. (Reuters)
