Dubai-based PR firm Jensen Matthews has announced plans to acquire agencies in Asia and Australia, as part of its ambitious expansion plans.
Established in the emirate just two years ago, the Jensen Matthews has since grown organically in the GCC market, according to executive director Loredana Matei.
“In 2017 we established two test-teams in Singapore and Hong Kong to test the market capabilities within APAC (Asia-Pacific) region and how Jensen Matthews can position its brand,” Matei told Arabian Business.
“The APAC expansion was in our five years plan since we started the agency, but as a response to a growing services request from Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, South Korea and Japan, we decided to start the expansion in Q3 and Q4 2018 by acquiring four small agencies, located in Australia, Singapore, Japan so we can actually blend into the culture and make sure we have a proper response to the market request.”
Matei said UAE-grown agency has plans to further grow in the APAC region, as well as into the US and China. For all the latest business news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
