Gaming influencer and YouTube sensation Alastair “Ali-A” Aiken will be in Dubai this weekend for the Fortnite, Season Six event at City Centre Mirdif.

The British gamer will be playing Fortnite and meeting fans at the “Fortnite Zone” located in the shopping mall’s atrium from 4-6pm on Saturday.

Aiken is known for his Fortnite commentary and vlogs on his YouTube channel, Ali-A. With over 15 million subscribers, he is one of the biggest gaming influencers on the video-sharing platform.

Organised by ITP Live, the four-day gaming event will be running from November 15–18 and will also welcome regional social media stars Mo Vlogs, Dyler and Ahmed “DVLZGame” Al Nasheet to the stage on November 15, 16 and 18.

The activation will be open to the public from 10am–10pm and everyone is welcome to stop by and play Fortnite.

Fans who spend a minimum amount at City Centre Mirdif will be eligible to sign up to meet and play against their favourite gaming influencers (timeslot availabilities pending).

A Fortnite flash mob dance will also be taking place, along with other gaming surprises throughout the entire weekend.

Fortnite was launched in 2017 and has become one of the most popular multiplayer online shooting games since its release.

Players battle it out on a virtual island until there is only one player left. Throughout the game, they can collection resources (weapons, traps and grenades) which allow them to both attack and defend themselves against other players. The last player “alive” at the end wins the game.
