Software giant's latest security update includes patch for flaws in Internet Explorer.
Microsoft has fixed nine vulnerabilities in its latest monthly security update, which it issued yesterday.
The software giant has released six patches, one less than expected, addressing a range of vulnerabilities including flaws in Internet Explorer.
Three of the nine patches issued fixed flaws in Internet Explorer 6 and 7. The vulnerabilities included a critical flaw that could have enabled a hacker to perform remote execution of code.
The other areas fixed were Microsoft Word, Outlook Express, and Kodak Image Viewer.
