India’s Nova Medical Centres will open its first medical facility in the Middle East through a joint partnership with Oman’s OMZEST Group.

Nova Medical Centres Middle East will launch a polyclinic in Al Khuwair, Oman and plans to expand its polyclinic and short stay surgery centres in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Riyadh, the Oman Daily Observer reported.

“We see tremendous potential for Ambulatory Surgery in general and NOVA’s business model in particular, both in the Middle East and India”, Rajiv Dhar, executive director of finance at OMZEST said.

NOVA Medical Centres develops, acquires, owns and operates ambulatory surgical centres across India. Ambulatory or short stay surgeries take place within 24 to 72 hours from admission to patient discharge.
