Dubai Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina takes step of launching own tours brand.
Dubai Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina has taken the landmark step of launching its own tours brand.
‘Mina Seyahi Tours' will be the umbrella brand of the hotel's many outsourced tours and leisure activities, which include helicopter rides, yacht and boat charters and its Dhow boat dining experience.
The move comes as the property prepares to welcome a new next-door-neighbour - the Westin Dubai Mina Seyhai Beach Resort & Marina - also part of the Starwood group, which will open its doors in January, further broadening the Mina Seyhai brand's activities offering.
"Any company that operates its services out of here will be marketed as Mina Seyahi Tours," explained general manager - complex, Michael Scully, who manages both the Le Méridien and the Westin properties.
"We will sell these experiences to other hotels, as well as travel agents and tour operators.
Scully said there were no immediate plans to expand the tours brand into a DMC-type business at this stage as it would be "too adventurous", but he did reveal details of another Mina Seyahi venture.
"We are also re-branding the Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) as Mina Seyahi," he said.
"The Mina Seyahi is becoming such a big brand in Dubai."
