Multibillion-dollar crypto giant Shiba Inu has announced a historic partnership with the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) to advance next-generation Web3 solutions across energy, infrastructure, and other sectors.
The MoEI has chosen Shiba Inu as a key partner in driving digital transformation through Web3 technologies, solidifying the UAE’s position as a global leader in innovation.
This collaboration marks a major milestone for both Shiba Inu and the Web3 industry, and is the first of its kind in the UAE, as no government entity has previously partnered with a Web3 project on this scale.

Unlike previous blockchain initiatives in the region, which focused on specific agencies such as Cardano’s work with Dubai Police, this agreement covers all emirates.
It signals the unification of Shiba Inu’s 36 ‘Chambers of Technology,’ which will support development across the MoEI’s operations at a federal level.
The new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlines Shiba Inu’s commitment to improving public service efficiency, enhancing green infrastructure, and developing governance models that prioritise citizens.
“We’re delighted to deepen our commitment to cutting-edge digital services,” Eng Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at MoEI said.
“This partnership represents a pivotal moment in our journey toward redefining government services. By embracing emerging technologies, we aim to set a global benchmark for innovation, delivering transformative solutions that benefit both our citizens and the wider community. Together, we are shaping a future built on sustainability, connectivity, and digital excellence,” he added.
The partnership highlights Shiba Inu’s shift from being primarily known for its token to becoming a comprehensive blockchain ecosystem.
Shiba Inu now offers decentralised finance (DeFi) features, real-world asset tokenisation, artificial intelligence (AI) governance, and more.
This move reinforces Shiba Inu’s ability to bring secure, transparent, and large-scale operational changes to governmental and business functions.
“We’re thrilled the Ministry sees Shiba Inu as a cornerstone for next-generation infrastructure,” Shytoshi Kusama, Lead Visionary for Shiba Inu said.
“This partnership showcases the power of Shiba Inu, Bone, Leash, and Treat, which unlocks our robust Web3 technologies, including AI and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). Together, we will redefine how businesses and citizens collaborate in a transparent, eco-friendly digital framework,” Kusama added.
