Dubai developer says it is now leasing space for 17 new restaurants and cafes on Palm Jumeirah
Dubai developer Nakheel has said it is now leasing beachfront space for 17 new cafes and restaurants on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah, adding more dining and leisure facilities to the island.
Dining space is available at Azure Residences and Club Vista Mare, two beachside residential and recreational projects under construction by Nakheel.
Azure Residences and Club Vista Mare contain more than 200 residential units between them, with beach club facilities at both.
At Azure Residences, Nakheel said it is offering nine leasing spaces, including a signature restaurant with 360 degree water views, plus another eight at Club Vista Mare.
Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel's flagship development, now has over 30,000 residents and nine resorts, with more under construction.
Azure Residences and Club Vista Mare, planned for completion in 2015, are two of a range of new Nakheel developments offering restaurant and retail opportunities on Palm Jumeirah.
Others include Nakheel Mall, The Pointe, Palm West Beach and The Boardwalk
Earlier this month, Nakheel announced a net profit of AED2.60 billion ($707.8 million) for the first nine months of 2014 - higher than the company's profit for the whole of 2013.
It also represented an increase of 47 percent on a profit of AED1.77 billion in the same period last year, the developer said.
