Naseej.com introduces instant messaging service in Arabic

Instant messaging service will give Arabic speakers the chance to interact online in realtime.

Naseej Arab Information Network has introduced instant messaging in Arabic on its Naseej.com Web site.

The application, called Neda Naseej, will allow users to exchange Arabic or English messages in real time via the Internet.

Instant messaging was a huge hit for America Online, when it was introduced, because it allowed people to effectively have an interactive conversation online, rather than a non-interactive exchange of e-mails.

Abdul Jabbar, president of Naseej Arab Information Network, said that the inclusion of instant messagig on Naseej.com would allow Arabic speakers to use instant messaging technology without having to find their way through English language sites.

Free Service

“Those not so proficient in English, could use the program with utmost ease,” he added.

Neda Naseej will be an entirely free service to Internet users that have signed-up for a free e-mail account with Naseej.com.
