The UAE's National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has said increased winds in the coming days will see dust storms across the country.
NCMS said that while the weather will be fair in general and partly cloudy, the moderate to fresh winds will become strong at times, which will lead to dust and sand blown in the air, leading to poor horizontal visibility over exposed areas during daytime.
The national forecaster said the relative humidity will increase by night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog and mist formation, especially over northern areas.
"Seas will be rough to very rough in Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the sea of Oman," the statement added.
Tuesday and Wednesday's conditions are likely to remain similar, with moderate seas on Wednesday.
The NCMS urged motorists to be cautious, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles during dust storms.
