New FM company joins ME

Faber Group Bhd, Khalid Ali Al Bustani and Dr Mohammed Emir Mavani have signed a shareholders agreement to carry out facilities management in the UAE.

Faber Group Bhd, Khalid Ali Al Bustani and Dr Mohammed Emir Mavani have signed a shareholders agreement to carry out facilities management in the UAE.

Noorizah Abd Hamid, Faber's managing director, said: "The rationale for the entry by Faber into this joint alliance is to establish strategic partnership whereby Faber will provide the technical expertise and know-how of the facilities management business.

"HE Khalid and Dr Emir will provide the local know-how. We want to capitalise on the development of Dubai, which is becoming the destination choice for world-class healthcare services that incluides the elements of world-class wellness facilities, in addition to hospitals, clinical centres, institutions and residential complexes."

Faber offers integrated facilities management solutions (IFMS) including:

• Building management and maintenance - executing day-to-day operation such as cleansing service, ground maintenance, routine maintenance, breakdown and corrective maintenance;

• Facilities maintenance - carrying out comprehensive preventive and planned maintenance of all building facilities and M&E equipment;

• Safety, health & security - planning and implementing security and safety measures to ensure enforcement of house rules and security of lives and assets;

• Car park operations - managing traffic and car park operation;

• Tenancy management - marketing of vacant space, enhancing owner/tenant relationship and customer satisfaction.
