Fujitsu is launching a new netbook in the Middle East next month, replacing the current Amilo Mini in the company’s notebook portfolio
The Amilo Mini, which weighs just 1kg and has an 8.9 inch screen, was made available in the region late last year for AED 2,399. Despite plans to launch the new netbook model by mid-August, Fujitsu have not revealed how much the M2010 will be sold for at the time of writing.
“We are witnessing a trend among notebooks users across the region, where the amalgamation of form and function is preferred. Users are also opting for smaller devices with all essential features,” says Chandan Mehta, product manager, Fujitsu Technology Solutions.”
The M2010 has a 10.1 inch LED display, an integrated webcam and microphone, and weighs 1.2 kilograms. The model is powered by the Intel Atom processor and comes in three colours – red, black and white.
“Depending on the customers’ needs, the Fujitsu M2010 can be fully functional on the road or a light-weight, slim and stylish device for communications and basic functionality. With the Fujitsu M2010 we provide end consumers with a highly attractive mini notebook,” Mehta added. For all the latest tech news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
