Global cabling provider Nexans is launching two new products as part of its green IT initiatives at GITEX Technology Week.

The company is also showcasing its latest LAN products, including LANmark 6A, 7A and LANsense Next Generation Analyser (NGA).

"At Gitex this year, we are launching new green technology products and creating awareness on our latest LANmark 6A (augmented Cat6) and LANmark 7A (augmented Cat7) solutions that have been defined by cabling standards organisations.

In addition, we are demonstrating the new features of our LANsense Next Generation Analyser. We will also be aggressively promoting our green technology solutions and signing new partnerships this GITEX," says Tarek Helmy, regional director Gulf and Middle East at Nexans Cabling Solutions.

The firm is hosting global experts to conduct live demonstrations on the latest LAN infrastructure as well as datacentre solutions. According to Helmy, the company is also looking for resellers to expand its network at this year's show.

"The Middle East region is very important for us and GITEX, being the largest ICT event in the region, is an ideal platform to demonstrate our leadership in the LAN infrastructure products space. We received great response from our participation last year and we do believe that this year's exhibition will be even better than previously," concludes Helmy.
