Novell has teamed up with Al Faris, a gold certified Novell solution provider, for a seminar to be held in Bahrain focused on Linux-based identity management and resource management solutions.

Targeted at both customers and channel partners, Novell hopes that the event, which will be held at the Movenpick hotel in Bahrain on November 14th, will further amplify interest in Linux-based solutions.

“Novell Linux identity management and resource management are among the best products that we have and the interest for these solutions has been continuously increasing in the region,” said Bharati Suresh, marketing manager at Novell Middle East.

“In addition to this, our aim is also to enhance our channel base in Bahrain. Our next step would be to equip the channel with proper certifications in Linux and Novell solutions around Linux. This is vital. We believe in the channel and want them to be comfortable in promoting our solutions,” added Suresh.

The Bahrain seminar will give customers an opportunity to appreciate the value that Linux solutions can deliver, focusing on how costs can be lowered, security increased and performance improved without disruption to the existing IT infrastructure, according to Novell.

Al-Faris will be on hand to present relevant case studies and project references during the seminar. Kuwait-based Al-Faris offers business consulting services and provides ‘best-of-breed’ technology solutions to clients.
