Oman Air has ordered a new Boeing 737-800 to add to its fleet of three 737-700s and two –800s. The purchase continues the carrier’s policy of standardising its fleet on the 737.

“The 737 is true to its reputation for efficiency and reliability us,” says Oman Air’s CEO, Abdul Rahman Al Busaidy. “This airplane has allowed us to expand our routes, achieve new levels of efficiency, and reduce our operating costs. We are delighted with the performance of this airplane and the support Boeing has provided us,” he adds.

“Boeing is dedicated to providing the best airplanes and the highest level of customer service,” comments Doug Groseclose, senior vice president of international sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. “Oman Air is a great partner and we look forward to more great things from this award-winning airline,” he adds.
