Omar Khairat to play live in Dubai

Legendary Egyptian composer and conductor Omar Khairat is set to perform live in Dubai on January 16, 2014.

The open-air symphony orchestra’s concert will be held at the Emirates Golf Club on Sheikh Zayed Road and organised by Sundance LIVE.

“Omar Khairat is undoubtedly one of the most iconic performers of modern times – crossing cultural barriers with his global appeal. He is set to open up our concert season for 2014 and we are expecting to receive fans from around the region to this event” said Mario Zakhary, founder and managing director of Sundance LIVE.

Omar Khairat was born and raised in Cairo and furthered his music education in London, but the pianist’s popularity has spread across the globe. His international influence and appeal has earned him standing ovations throughout his musical career with his unmatched repertoire.

He has won numerous awards for his compositions in films, TV shows, operettas, the 11th Pan-Arab Games, the Cairo Opera Ballet, and as the conductor of ‘Omar Khairat’s Group’.
