One of world's largest diamonds now in Dubai

Luxury Swiss jeweller de Grisogono and Dubai's DMCC acquire rights to 404 carat diamond

One of world's largest diamonds now in Dubai

Luxury Swiss jeweller de Grisogono and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) have acquired the rights to one of the world’s 30 largest and rarest rough diamonds.

The 404 carats diamond, which is colourless and flawless in clarity, was found in Angola and belongs to Nemesis International diamond trading company.

It will be cut and polished by de Grisogono and used in a jewellery piece.

“This diamond marks one of the most important milestones in my career both as a jeweller and a designer. Words cannot express how grateful my team and I are to DMCC and Nemesis International for such a unique collaboration,” said founder of de Grisogono, Fawaz Gruosi.

De Grisogono, who is known for creating colourful designs and using black diamonds, opened its Dubai store in the Dubai Mall early this month.
