Oracle Middle East, has released new localisation enhancements for its Human Resources Management System (HRMS). The new features provide better compliance with the Saudi labor law, customs, religion and immigration regulations.
Oracle Middle East, today announced the release of its localisation enhancements of the Oracle Human Resources Management System (HRMS) part of Oracle E-Business Suite. The new features provide better compliance with the Saudi labor law, customs, religion and immigration regulations.
The new localisation features provide closer compliance with the Saudi regulation in capturing complete data about candidates and employees, which includes personal details, religion, Saudi address style, disability and work incidents details, nationality and nationality groups, previous employment history as well as contract information.
Other enhancements include support for GOSI (General Organisation for Social Insurance) reporting requirements, and uses for the Hijri calendar, which Oracle believes is an important feature to achieve Saudi compliance. The functionality of the Hijri calendar covers maintaining employee data using Hijri dates for payroll and calculating end of service benefits.
“This major step is another demonstration of Oracle’s commitment to the Saudi market, and to support its large business applications customer base,” says Abdul Rahman Al Dossary, managing director, Oracle KSA.
The localised version with full Arabic support is currently available to existing Oracle HRMS customers in the Kingdom including Al Bank Al Saudi Al Faransi, Arab Petroleum Investment Corporation, Riyadh Bank and Saudi Lighting.
