ORBIS International

ORBIS International, a non-profit organisation dedicated to saving sight worldwide, recently brought its Flying Eye Hospital to Dubai to increase public awareness about avoidable blindness. The hospital is the world’s only airborne ophthalmic training facility housed inside a DC-10 aircraft. While in Dubai, the hospital received maintenance and ground support from FedEx, which recently announced its plans to donate US$5.5 million over the next five years to ORBIS.
