OSIsoft unveils HA version of flagship suite

The storage management software firm has improved data protection with update of its historian platform.

The company released a high availability (HA) version of its PI System this month that includes fault tolerant software that delivers fail-over, buffering and replication.

The PI system is widely used by companies in the manufacturing, energy, utilities and other process industries.

OSIsoft said the HA release provided customers with greater assurance that data would always be gathered, stored and available to everyone across the organisation.

“The HA release is a significant update to the PI System and brings a greater level of confidence to users who demand access to real-time information to drive decision support,” the company said.
