The son of assasinated Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Hariri — and brother to the current premier, Saad — Ayman Hariri has opted for business over politics.
The Georgetown graduate plays a crucial role in managing the investments of his family’s massive real estate, telecoms and construction group, Saudi Oger. His success is such that Forbes magazine has put his fortune at $1.4bn.
Hariri cut his teeth with satellite provider Intelsat, and now chairs identity-software management firm Epok, which counts Dubai International Airport among its customers. He also serves on the board of South African telecoms firm Cell C.
