Khaldoon Mubarak

Mubarak was born Abu Dhabi but educated in America where he obtained a degree in Economics and Finance from Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts. His career began as a sales executive at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Co — but the 34-year-old has seen staggering success since then.

He is best known as chairman of Premier League club Manchester City, where millions of fans across the world are relying on him to deliver a Champions League spot this season. He was also heavily involved in the first ever Abu Dhabi F1 race last November, and as boss of state-owned firm Mubadala, he oversees several billion dollars worth of global investments.
