10 hairstyles for Dubai businesswomen on the go
In a busy city life, businesswomen can no longer afford to spend hours getting their hair ready for work. But the good news is that they don’t have to. According to Romyet Khouri, executive director of Dubai-based online hair website The Trending Hair, there are a number of hairstyles that are quick and easy to do. With the help of Khouri, we took to the fashion runways to select the latest and quickest styles for ladies on the go:

1. Quick waves:

\nYou don’t have to spend an hour using a hot curler to get nice looking hair. Opt for an effortless, natural look by choosing random hair chunks and quickly curling them on the iron. The trick is not to keep the strands in the iron. You want the waves to blend in with the rest of your hair. Make sure you don’t play around too much with the roots either, in order to keep that natural look.

2. Sophisticated low ponytail:

\nThis style is easy breezy and sophisticated, if you get it right. Because low ponytails look very casual, you want to add accessories, such as earrings, to add a little oomph. Make sure your roots are sleek and no baby hairs are in sight. We recommend curling the end of your ponytail or quickly curling big chunks of it for a more polished look.

3. The fringe:

\nNot everyone is a fan of fringes, but they’re a great option for businesswomen with straight or wavy hair because they’re already a statement hairstyle on their own. They’re bold but conservative at the same time. They also add a nice touch to an otherwise plain ponytail or bun. If you find your fringe keeps falling on your eyes, you can create a side-swept fringe instead.

4. Elegant low bun:

\nHigh buns tend to look too casual for work, so we recommend opting for a low bun - with a twist. We find lower buns a little more conservative and mature for the office. But instead of rolling a regular ponytail into a low bun, try braiding your hair first and rolling the braid into a bun. Secure with hair pins and you’re good to go. Add some accessories such as earrings to style the look.

5. Side curls:

\nAnother quick and effortless look is side curls. Instead of spending an hour curling all the strands in your hair, put all your hair to one side and curl only the top strands – the most apparent ones, if you will. That way, you’ll get a classy look without losing too much time.

6. Side fishtail braid:

\nFishtail braids appear more refined than regular braids. To make the look office-appropriate, opt for a side braid with loose fringe strands. Style the look with accessories, winged liner and a bold look. Easy, breezy and practical!
