Apple opens first South America store

Customers were out in force to celebrate the launch of South America’s first physical Apple retail store. Droves of fans of the numerous i-products flocked to the unit in the Village Mall shopping Centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which has been built in a 'pavilion' design with a 100-foot curved glass panel in front. The shop opens four months before the World Cup is held across the country.
