Boston prepares for marathon

Boston is preparing for its 2014 marathon – the first since the deadly events of last’s years race. On 15 April 2013 two explosions near the finish line killed three and injured 264 others. This year’s marathon will have heightened security as well as an emotional edge, as thousands of runners gather in the city for the 26.2 mile race.
