CEO Middle East Awards 2015 winners
Fourteen winners honoured at glittering gala dinner held last night in Dubai.
The winners of the CEO Middle East Awards gather on stage for a group photo. Fred Durie, the chief executive of Nshama, picks up the Best New Company CEO award. Dr Nasser Marafih, the group chief executive of Ooredoo, collects the Telecoms CEO of the Year award. Lals Group boss Jayant Ganwani collects the Retail CEO of the Year trophy. Abdallah Massaad, the chief executive of RAK Ceramics, was on hand to receive the Industry CEO of the Year award. The Deal of the Year award went to Talabat, and was picked up by chief executive Abdulhamed Al Omar. HE Ahmad Bin Shafar won the Energy CEO of the Year award, for his leadership of Empower. The Healthcare CEO of the Year award was won by Dr Azad Moopen, the founder and chairman of Aster DM Healthcare. Mahdi Amjad, the executive chairman and chief executive of Omniyat, won Property CEO of the Year. The Islamic Banking CEO of the Year award was won by Noor Bank chief executive Hussain Al Qemzi. The hotly contested Airline CEO of the Year award was picked up Ghaith Al Ghaith, the CEO of flydubai. Shayne Nelson, the chief executive of Emirates NBD, won Bank CEO of the Year. Khalid Alkhudair, the founder and CEO of Glowork, won Entrepreneur of the Year. He is pictured here with his mother, who joined him on stage to collect the award. The Visionary of the Year award was won by Omar Alghanim, the CEO of Alghanim Industries and chairman of Gulf Bank, and the co-founder and former chairman of Injaz Al Arab.
