Chopard launches Couture 2016 collection
Pieces were showcased at the Paris Haute Couture Week
Swiss luxury jewellery brand, Chopard, has revealed its latest Couture collection which comprises of two plant-themed lines, Fleurs d’Opales and Haute Joaillerie. Fleurs d’Opales comprises of six rings combining sapphires, black diamonds, and rubies amongst other precious stones. They all revolve around floral designs. Haute Joaillerie, on the other hand, entails sets of bracelets, necklaces, and brooches. It uses colourful precious stones, gold and titanium. One of its sets features a bracelet with two topaz butterflies perched on gem-set titanium foliage. The set’s earrings and brooch are designed similarly to the butterflies’ wings. Another bracelet from the collection houses two rows of flowers with pear-shaped diamond petals. It uses blue sapphires and white diamonds set on titanium. A second set, featuring a necklace and pair of earrings, uses precious red and blue stones whose centrepiece is a 14-carat pear-shaped tanzanite. The earrings feature sculpted jade, emeralds, and diamonds.
