Chopard’s Happy Diamonds collection
Range was first launched at this year’s Basel Fair before making its way to Dubai
The Geneva-based brand says it found that un-set diamonds moved in a way resembling “joyous dancing.” Thus, it created a collection revolving around them, and titled it “Happy Diamonds.” The jewellery collection was also inspired by nature and modern pop art. These floral-shaped pendants in 18 carat white and rose gold are set with 19 diamonds or blue or pink sapphires, of which the middle piece is left floating. They come alongside matching earrings and rings of 18 carat white or rose gold. Another smaller collection is the Happy Hearts ensemble. It is a recreation of Chopard’s heart charm. The brand’s traditional openwork heart are turned into solid turquoise, onyx, or mother-of-pearl with white or rose gold chains. Matching earrings from the Happy Hearts collection, in onyx, with a dancing diamond on each piece. A later addition is the signature design watches, which were created with free, un-set diamonds across the dial. A similar watch piece with a leather strap and un-set diamonds.
