Christies displays Sir Albert Richardson collection

More than 650 lots owned by Sir Albert Richardson, a collector, architect and President of the Royal Academy between 1954-1956, are expected to collectively fetch over GBP4m ($1.59m) when they go on auction at Christies in London. The eclectic auction includes Old Master paintings, British watercolours, architectural drawings, English and European furniture, sculpture, garden statuary, books, clocks, musical instruments and Georgian costume.
