Fort Hood shooting kills three

A shooting at the Fort Hood army base has claimed the lives of three people – as well as the gunman himself, who died of self-inflicted wounds. The tragedy is the second of its kind at the military facility in Texas, UK, where thirteen people were killed in a mass shooting perpetrated by army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan in 2009. A further sixteen people were injured in the most recent attack.
