HMS Protector launched in London

Great Britain’s home secretary Theresa May has launched a new vessel to help patrol the UK’s coastline. Border Force cutter HMC Protector is the fifth boat to be added to the Border Force fleet. It will be based in south coast city Portsmouth, and operate 24 hours a day, all year round. Officers will be on board for fourteen days at a time.
