The Dubai Aquarium at The Dubai Mall has had its first 30 Sand Tiger sharks delivered. The aquarium, one of the largest indoor aquariums in the world, will open on October 30, two months behind schedule, alongside the mall opening.

The Dubai Mall will include the city’s ultimate chill out venue with Dubai Ice Rink. Located in the comforts of a climate-controlled environment, it will be a year-round family attraction for skating enthusiasts or the fresh beginner. A dedicated team of instructors and education coordinators will ensure Dubai Ice Rink provides both a scholastic approach to learning, under the watchful eyes of trained professionals.

The mall is expecting 30 million customers in the first year of trade and that to support this, it will have over 14,000 car park spaces and a dedicated bridge from Sheikh Zayed Road for direct access.
