In pictures: HTC Desire 10 Pro vs Desire 10 Lifestyle
HTC unveiled two handsets from its Desire 10 range, but what's the difference?
The HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle are inspired by the Art Deco movement in art and design and features bold, precise, geometric metallic lines, in the colours of Stone Black, Polar White, Royal Blue and Valentine Lux. The Pro will be available in November in the MEA region and the Lifestyle will be available at the end of September. HTC Desire 10 Pro measures 156.5 x 76 x 7.86mm and weighs 165g and the Desire 10 Lifestyle 156.9 x 76.9 x 7.7mm and weighs 155g. The handsets are from HTC’s mid-range and include a fingerprint sensor. The Pro offers a 20-megapixel sensor, along with a f/2.2 lens and a laser autofocusing and a dual LED flash. On the front of the device, there is a 13-megapixel camera that offers a wide-angle selfie capture. The Lifestyle has a 13-megapixel camera on the rear without the laser autofocus and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. There is a major difference with the audio features. The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle features BoomSound speakers whereas the Pro has a mono speaker. The HTC Desire 10 Pro has a 5.5-inch IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and full HD resolution with a pixel density of 400ppi. The Desire 10 Lifestyle’s display is also 5.5 inch but with a lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Both handsets are topped with Gorilla Glass. The HTC Desire 10 Pro is embedded with a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset and can be supported by 3GB or 4GB of RAM, whereas the Desire 10 Lifestyle has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Both handsets offer fast charging capabilities, the Pro, however, has a 3000mAh battery and the Lifestyle has a 2700mAh battery. Both models offer SD card support for up to 2TB of expandable memory.
