Clé Dubai opened its doors on Saturday, October 11 to over a thousand guests with a buzzing launch party filled with international celebrities.

The Hilton sisters, Paris and Nicky were in attendance, along with American television personality Khloe Kardashian; Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk as well as rapper Akon.

The celebrities walked the black carpet at the launch of Michelin-starred chef Greg Malouf’s restaurant featuring contemporary Middle Eastern cuisine.

Clé Dubai, located at the Al Fattan Currency House in Dubai’s International Financial District, features Malouf’s award-winning culinary offerings of Middle Eastern fusion.

The huge venue also features a luxurious bar and lounge offering, VIP area and an alfresco terrace with a view of the Burj Khalifa.

The space can cater to over 300 people comfortably seated or in excess of 1,000 in pure standing capacity.

The launch party was also attended by Bollywood celebrities including Hrithik Roshan, Dino Morea, Nargis Fakhri, Esha Gupta, and Fardeen Khan and local personalities.

Guests were all treated to a surprise number by Cirque Eloize, a performing group in contemporary circus arts.

Guests sampled all the dishes from the menu and an array of cocktails created by the international mixologists.

Clé Dubai is designed to cater to a revolving array of art, sculpture, music and live performances. Its maze-like corners and multiple sections can be readily shaped to the needs of the guests from formal dining to private areas for special functions.

“The support that we received from our friends who’ve made this launch a resounding success is overwhelming. Our sincerest gratitude goes out to all of you especially to those who travelled from different parts of the world to join us,” said Duncan Fraser-Smith, CEO of Global Hospitality Limited, the company behind the concept of Clé Dubai.

On the night of the launch, the owners also revealed their plans to expand in Asia, Europe and Australia in the coming years.

Clé Dubai is officially opening to the public today, Monday October 13. It is operating seven days a week from 12:00noon to 2:00am. A la carte lunch is served from 12:00pm to 3:00pm; mezze from 3:00pm to 7:00pm; and dinner from 7:00pm to 11:30pm.
