Situated at a private location in Al Qasr hotel, the VIP Lounge @ DIFF hosted a plethora of celebrities, including Martin Sheen, Naomie Harris, Michael B Jordan, Yosra, Nadia El Gendy, Samy Al Adl and Bushra.

This year it was the biggest gifting lounge to date, packed to the brim with luxurious gifts, treatments, fine jewellery and even colourful candy to keep the stars looking and feeling their best throughout the event.

Master Craftsman David Morris Jewellers arranged a set of exquisite one-of-a-kind pieces for the red carpet gala events. But this gift is only for lending and Jeremy Morris, designer and CEO, is on-hand to style the A-listers.

One of the most interesting gifts provided to the stars was the artwork of Yasemine Richie, Storylines. The inspirational designer and favourite among past celebrity guests at DIFF such as Colin Firth, Freida Pinto and Cate Blanchett. Yasemine is gifting each celebrity with custom made wall mounted Storylines art work inspired by the films that they have either starred in or directed.

VIP guests are pampered with services from Bastien Gonzalez, who is internationally famous for his glamorous and unique approach to foot treatments. Services will include manicure and pedicure treatments as well as personal grooming rituals from Gentlemen’s Tonic, a classic men’s salon, which has recently opened its doors in Atlantis, The Palm.

Al Nassma, the premium camel milk chocolate, brings an authentic flavour of the region to the 10th edition of DIFF. Throughout the 9 days, Al Nassma is displaying its exquisite chocolate and praline creations to an array of regional and international visitors and celebrities who visit the VIP lounge.

Offering clothing, accessories, furniture, contemporary art and home décor by renowned designers and artisans, each item in the boutique is hand-made and hand-picked from different parts of the world and reflects Arabic heritage with a modern twist.

The most popular spot in the lounge is IT’S SUGAR’s candy stand. The US brand was founded in 2006 and has grown since to 40 locations throughout the US, London, and the Cayman Islands.

Getting the stars ready for the red carpet this Dubai Film Festival is Halston Heritage. Dressing stars like Naomi Harris, Halston is providing their latest collection as well as select vintage pieces for red carpet.

The official men’s red carpet fashion brand of the Dubai International Film Festival VIP Lounge this year is Reiss. Although their focus is on menswear this year, their small collection of women’s garments already caught the attention of Yosra as she sported the brand’s brown leather dress at DIFF.
