Janmashtami celebrations

Hindus across the world have celebrated the festival of Janmashtami. The festival fell on 28th August this year, marking the birth of the Hindu god Lord Krishna with traditional dances, worship and merry-making. In Hinduism Krishna is considered the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the protector of humans from evil and injustice.
