Japan marks Plum Blossom Festival

Japanese Geisha’s have made and served green tea at the annual Baikasai Plum Blossom Festival at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. The annual even commemorates enshrined politician and plum-blossom aficionado of the Heian Period, Michizane Sugawara, who died in the year 903.
