Presidential elections held in Egypt

The Egyptian electorate have turned out in force to vote for their country’s next president. The presidential elections are the first since the military deposed president Morsi, with only two candidates standing – Hamdeen Sabahi and Abdel Fattah Al Sisi. Former field marshal Sisi is expected to win the vote.
