Revealed: 10 affordable luxury apartments in Dubai
High-end living starting at AED1 million
Who said that luxury has to be expensive? There is such a thing as affordable luxury, even in real estate. We teamed up with Dubai luxury real estate firm Luxhabitat, which specialises in properties priced AED1 million and above, to show you 10 apartments for sale in the city rated from AED1 million to about AED2 million. Here are the best ones we found … Acacia Park Heights: Located in Dubai Hills in Mohammed Bin Rashid City, this 800 sq ft, off-plan, one-bedroom apartment is priced at AED1 million – and it is luxurious. Housing a balcony overlooking views of Downtown Dubai, it also features wooden and marble flooring and an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The building has a lobby with an open courtyard and water features. As for the community, it includes lush greenery, lakes, as well as a golf course. Estimated handover date is 2018-19. Dubai Creek Residences North Tower 1: Another off-plan property is this one bedroom apartment situated in Dubai Creek Harbour. The 881 sq ft apartment is designed in stone, wood and modern art elements. Its balcony and windows overlook partial Sheikh Zayed Road skyline views as well as a full Creek view. As for the tower itself, it is located just next to the Ras Al Khor Sanctuary, home to around 450 animal species. This residence costs a little over AED1.4 million. Handover date: 2019. Cayan Tower: The famous twisted tower, otherwise known as Infinity tower, is one of the most pictured landmarks in Dubai Marina. And it happens to have an affordable, AED1.5 million studio apartment. Located on a low floor, 689 sq ft property overlooks marina and city views. The building itself has a concierge service, spa, large pool, barbecue area and half-floor gym. Creek Horizon: Situated in Dubai Creek Harbour, this off-plan, two-bedroom apartment costs a little over AED1.6 million. It is 1,245 sq ft large and boasts Creek views and Sheikh Zayed Road skyline views. It also features marble countertops, a balcony and wooden and stone flooring. The building has a concierge service, valet parking and a communal pool and gym. It is also located beside The Tower, the landmark expected to beat Burj Khalifa to become the world’s highest tower. Did we mention Creek Horizon has a yacht club next door too? Handover date: 2020. Shoreline Apartment: A Palm Jumeirah apartment is always a good idea – at least for us. Priced at AED1.7 million, this 1,184 sq ft, one bedroom apartment is spacious and features partial Dubai Marina skyline and sea view. It also houses marble flooring and a balcony. The 20-building complex also has five beachfront clubhouses, fitness centres, retail outlets, restaurants and cafes. Index Tower: This is one of our favourite towers for modern apartments. Index Tower is located in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and has this 900 sq ft, one bedroom apartment for sale at AED1.8 million. Its best feature is its floor to ceiling windows which overlook skylines of Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai. However, its open kitchen is also impressive, designed in all-white, modern equipment. We have to mention its bathroom too, because it is designed in an all-mirror artsy theme. We told you it is modern! The tower also has an outdoor and indoor pool and gym as well as a restaurant and lounge. Marina Gate: Another Dubai Marina off-plan apartment is this one bedroom property estimated to be 775 sq ft large. Priced at AED2 million, it boasts floor to ceiling windows, an open-kitchen, a balcony and marina and Palm Jumeirah views. Marina Gate is located next to Marina Walk and has a community pool, gym, squash court and basketball court. Handover date: 2017. D1 Tower: This is also one of our favourite picks from the list, because it is designed in ultra-modern design. It genuinely looks like something out of a James Bond movie – these pictures don’t do it justice. Located in the Culture Village, its 1,076 sq ft large and comprises one bedroom, marble and wood flooring, a modern open-kitchen and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Dubai Creek and Sheikh Zayed Road. The best thing about it? It has the same view from its bathtub! The tower also has a community outdoor and indoor pool, gym, lounge, juice bar, concierge and boardroom meeting areas. This one costs a little under AED2 million. Shams 4: Located in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), this property is the only duplex on the list. It is 1,080 sq ft large and features a full skyline of Dubai Marina. It is also designed in modern furniture with artsy elements, wooden floors and bold colours. The duplex also has a walk-in closet and a living split that’s split into two lounging areas. It is priced at AED2 million. The building has a communal gym and pool. Boulevard Central Tower 2: The only Downtown Dubai apartment on the list, this one bedroom property is 1,260 sq ft large and costs a little over AED2.2 million. It overlooks partial Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain and Burj Lake views. It has a walk-in closet, an open kitchen and floor to ceiling windows. The tower features a terrace, a concierge and a communal pool and gym.
