Sikhs celebrate Vaisakhi

Sikhs across the world, including these in France, have celebrated the Sikh new year, known as Vaisakhi. The festival also commemorates the founding of the Khalsa (Sikh community) by the tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, in 1699.
