The 61st anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II

On June 2, 1953, Queen Elizabeth II was formally crowned as The Queen in England with hundreds of millions listening on radio and for the first time watched the proceedings on live television. The Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II was a multinational celebration, taking place from June 2, 2012, to June 2, 2013, to mark sixty years since the beginning of her reign.
