The concept was revealed at the Dubai International Boat Show. Friday water leisure firm has revealed a “floating house” at this year’s Dubai International Boat Show. The mobile house, run by two outboard motors with a speed of 3 knots, has a fixed width of 6 metres and lengths ranging from 10 to 18 metres. It can be as small as a studio or as big as a three-bedroom house. According to the company, the house can be used as a “base camp” for outdoor activities like sailing, water-skiing, fishing, or paddling. It has a fully equipped kitchen, heat pump, AC generator, upper terrace with barbecue area, and a wine cellar. It’s also eco-friendly with technologies that reduce carbon footprint and can be charged to last up to seven days. Because of its modular design, it can be stored in two standard containers - along with all of its equipment and furniture – and be shipped to any place.
