Over 21 Nobu Chefs from 10 countries around the world will gather to deliver the ultimate culinary experience. Celebrity Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will spearhead the first World of Nobu: the largest gathering of Chefs from restaurants around the globe. The food festival will kick off at Atlantis, The Palm from October 16 and 17, 2014. For two days the creator behind the recognisable restaurant name will work with his executive and sushi chefs from locations around the world including Malibu, London, Tokyo, Cape Town, Milan, Mykonos and beyond, to offer the world’s best of Nobu combined with international entertainment in a specially created Nobu pop-up restaurant at Asateer at Atlantis, The Palm. The World of Nobu will kick off with an elite cocktail party, featuring the finest in food and entertainment from a guest DJ this Thursday from 9pm-3am. Unlimited tapas from the Nobu Chefs will be on offer and the maker of Hokusetsu Sake (the preferred sake of Nobu restaurants globally) will be present doing pourings and giving special insights into the premium beverage. Tickets for the party start at AED450 ($122.5) p/p which will be followed by the Global Tasting Festival on October 17 from 12pm-4pm. Over 80 dishes from the various Nobu locations will be served on a special menu designed to showcase each restaurant’s unique style and palate. Ending on a glamorous high, World of Nobu will conclude with a high fashion six-course gala dinner from 8pm, complete with entertainment from Salha and The Million Dollar Band and live cooking demonstrations. True fans of the culinary mastermind will get a once in a lifetime experience from Chef Nobu, learning the technique that has made him world famous. Starting from AED2,845 ($750), the package includes a one night stay in a deluxe room, entry to the Nobu Cocktail party for two and international breakfast for two. All guest staying at Atlantis, The Palm can enjoy the added benefit of unlimited entry into the Lost Chambers Aquarium and Aquaventure Waterpark.
