Where to dine in luxury in Abu Dhabi
We take a long look at the top spots for high-end dining in the capital.
Fancy dinner and a show or canal views and soothing music? You can enjoy both in the capital’s high-end dining spots. Here are five spots that we recommend you try for luxury, leisure and of course great food. Stratos: A revolving restaurant and lounge concept, Stratos is located on the 26th floor of Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi, offering a 360-degree view of the city. It offers continental cuisine and is designed in plush furnishing, floor-to-ceiling windows, and dim lighting – a romantic location for couples. Pearls and Caviar: This restaurant and lounge by Michelin-starred chef Sergi Arola is known for its modern white interior and impressive views of the Khor Maqta canal in Abu Dhabi. It is designed to literally float above the canal and is located at The Villas by Shangri-La. Koi Abu Dhabi: If you are a fan of Japanese cuisine, we highly recommend Koi. The Japanese restaurant serves traditional dishes as well as California-inspired creations. It is located in The Collection within St Regis Saadiyat Island. Burlesque Restaurant & Lounge at Yas Viceroy: This venue offers a unique dinner experience coupled with dancing shows. It has a vintage feel of French boudoir in the indoor space and overlooks the Yas Marina on its outdoor terrace. It also had an international live band that plays a mix of jazz, blues and rock music. Chamas Churrascaria Abu Dhabi: This Brazilian restaurant offers over a dozen types of meat and chicken served in small portions in the form of freshly barbecued skewers directly to your table. This is a must try for meat-lovers. It is located in the InterContinental Abu Dhabi.
