Where to get your power breakfast in Dubai
Whether you're on the run or have time to enjoy a morning meal with a view, we've got several options for you
We should all start our day with a power breakfast. And if you don't already do that, maybe these breakfast spots will inspire you to start. Behold our top places to grab an energising morning meal. The Hamptons Café: Designed in wooden floors and cosy interiors, this two-story café in Umm Suqeim 1 is known for its glass rooftop that makes for naturally-lit and energising seating. The café makes its own homemade bread using French flours and no preservatives. While it’s on the pricey side, it’s known for using fresh and high end ingredients that are worth it, including truffle oil. Fume: With branches in both Dubai Marina and Downtown, Fume is a convenient and impressive breakfast spot with a creative menu. It serves everything from Arabic breakfast to eggs benedict and sour dough toast. The smoothies are also a must-try! La Serre Bistro & Boulangerie: Feeling like an upscale breakfast spot? La Serre is a high-end venue encased in a two-storey glass façade. While it’s also on the pricey side, it offers a wide variety of generously-sized dishes. Pascal Tepper French Bakery: If you’re running late for work in Dubai Media City, this is the place to pick up a quick breakfast. The menu even features an “energie” breakfast for a quick boost. If your kind of power breakfast is a croissant and coffee, the bakery also has a delicious range of fresh croissants. The Farm: While it’s known mostly for its natural surroundings of lakes, waterways and botanical gardens, The Farm has a rich breakfast menu in its own right. And where else can you get fresher ingredients than from a farm? The venue offers vegan options and a lot of organic meals. Zaroob: This is the perfect place to get your pure oriental power breakfast, hummus and all. It has everything from foul to soujuk and falafel. If you like your Arabic spread, we highly recommend this quirky eatery in Dubai Marina. Did we mention it’s really affordable? Waterfront: Up for a relaxing breakfast with a sea view? Waterfront in Jumeirah Beach Hotel overlooks the sea, a marina full of yachts and the Burj Al Arab. It’s known for its delicious breakfasts, vegetarian meals and protein shakes. Heat: If you’re a health enthusiast and are extremely picky about your food/calories, head to Heat in Umm Suqeim. The casual-style venue serves healthy dishes such as low carb eggs benedict and avocado toast. Café Rider: Feeling macho and want to have an all-out power meal? Café Rider will satisfy both desires. The custom motorcycle shop/café serves specialty coffee and a limited (though delicious) food menu.
