World Cup protests in Brazil

Protesters in Brazil have staged a demonstration against the staging of the upcoming 2014 World Cup in the country. Demonstrations were planned in 36 Brazilian cities against the billions in spending for the games which begin June. Riot police were called into action when the marches turned violent.
