Employees are the government's "most valuable asset", said the ruler
Sheikh Mohammed has criticised the managers of some government entities after reports showed employee satisfaction rates as low as 60%.
In a tweet on his official Twitter account, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced a six month warning period for five government entities which scored a low rate.
“I looked over employee satisfaction reports in 40 federal government entities… The satisfaction rate is 93% in some entities. We have five entities where the percentage is less than 60%! These percentages are unacceptable,” he said.
“Employee satisfaction is the key to customer satisfaction. We have given the managers of these entities six months to change the working environment,” he added.
Sheikh Mohammed reiterated the importance of satisfied employers, calling them the government’s “most valuable asset.”
