Bahrain has provided more than 25,000 homes over the last four years to citizens with and their families with special needs, according to the official Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
“The Government spared no efforts to provide housing that cater to people with special needs and ensure them stable living conditions,” Housing Minister Basem bin Yacoub Al-Hamer was quoted as saying by BNA.
The report said the minister was aiming to expand the housing options of those will special needs and fast-track those in urgent need of accommodation.
“He underlined the ministry’s success in providing more than 25,000 units over the past four years,” the report said.
The report said the housing ministry has also redesigned units of the families having members with special needs, taking into account their health conditions.
