President Donald Trump's daughter and senior adviser will speak at World Bank's Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative
President Donald Trump’s daughter and senior adviser, Ivanka Trump, will deliver the keynote address at a Dubai summit next week and will meet with Mideast leaders, White House officials said on Friday.
Ivanka Trump will speak about opportunities for women in business at the Global Women’s Forum and a regional summit for the World Bank’s Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative in Dubai February 14-17, the officials said.
They said the leaders she’ll meet haven’t been finalised.
World Bank President David Malpass will join Ivanka Trump at the event, the people said.
The portfolio of the president’s daughter at the White House is focused on women’s issues and workforce development.
Before her Middle East trip, she and Secretary of State Michael Pompeo will co-host an event February 12 to recognize the one-year anniversary of her Women’s Global Development and Prosperity initiative, an effort to encourage women in developing nations to participate in their economies.
Ivanka Trump and Pompeo will release a report on the number of women impacted by the initiative so far, the officials said.
